A triple concert you don't want to miss!
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A STUDENT TO BUY A TICKET
Three bands from across the country have joined forces and will go out in 2025 and play together on a tour they call; Tour de Communale. In addition to having the same love for the Danish language and indie, with a dash of 80s essence, in common, all three bands are signed to the Jutland indie label Communale Records.
Behind the record label, which is based in Skanderborg, is rock musician and producer Søren Zahle. Zahle has been an active musician and producer for 20 years, including for Peter Sommer, Jacob Dinesen, The Broken Beats, and many more. And it is, with himself, now in the role of producer and record label, that Søren Zahle will release new music with the three artists in 2024/25.
Maaneland
Maaneland, debuted in 2023, with the album “Metervarer til en drømmer” which with the single “Praktisk Magi” and not least the album’s pulsating title track, cemented the band as one of northern Jutland’s hottest indie names, and brought them to festival scenes such as Nibe, SPOT and UHØRT. The band is currently working on their next release, which will be released at an as yet unknown time in 2025.
De Lyse Timer
De Lyse Timer, follows up with their new single “Tiger” on the EP “Blanke Blå” from 2020 - and in line with the P4 single “Solnedgang” from their last release, the band once again shows that they still know how to make relevant pop songs, with the lyrics at the center. According to the band themselves, the band’s upcoming album “Fra Vilde Grønne Højder” will be a journey back through youth and upbringing. And as the first single indicates, with its story of a young student who goes his own way in life, avoiding the usual community, it is as always a collection of bittersweet sweets that are on the menu of the Copenhagen quartet, who have released music since the single “Blodmåne” from 2017.
efteraar
Aarhusianske ettaraar’s lyrical universe revolves around everything that emerges in the late twenties – from hamster wheel feelings and crumbling friendships to the ups and downs of love. The band debuted in 2023 with the single ‘stemmebånd’, which was followed by their debut EP ‘kan du mærk noget?’. ettaraar also made a positive impression at this year’s SPOT Festival, where the audience could barely get there, in the crowd, to experience the new band, which musically moves safely between the raw energy of rock, dreamy guitars and soaring pop melodies, carried by Bernhard Babanto’s airy vocals.
