LENDING AND RENTAL OF PREMISES

Studenterhuset Aalborg is home to a café, a concert hall, and a smaller upstairs venue called Stargate. Please note that we don’t rent out our spaces for private events such as parties or weddings.

If you’re a student at AAU or UCN, you and your study group are welcome to use our venues free of charge for lectures, concerts, or similar activities. The concert hall is also available for student parties with a minimum of 150 guests. Our bar staff will be on duty, and students receive a discount on drinks. Fees only apply if you need sound and lighting equipment or additional staff for tasks like cleaning.

Cultural organizations or event organizers are welcome to rent our spaces. Rental prices depend on the type of event.

Concerthall

• Standing capacity: 460 people
• Seated capacity: 170 people – suitable for lectures, talks, and similar events
• The venue includes 200 chairs, 10 round tables (6–8 people), 16 long tables (8 people), and 18 round café tables (4 people)
• Equipped with a projector and screen with VGA and HDMI input
• The concert hall is wheelchair accessible

1st floor (Stargate)

• Standing capacity: 75 people
• Seated capacity: 45 people – suitable for lectures, talks, and similar events
• The venue includes 55 chairs and 10 café tables
• Equipped with a projector and screen with VGA and HDMI input
• Stargate is wheelchair accessible via elevator. If you require elevator access, please contact us in advance so we can assist you.
• Please note: This venue is not available for student parties!

The Café

The Café is not for rent.
