TELUS is a young Danish post-punk group that takes the stage with raw emotions. In the borderlands between post-punk, alternative, and pop, an emotionally charged vocal blends with hard-hitting drums, catchy melodies, and atmospheric soundscapes. The band has crafted a dynamic sound that encompasses uplifting tunes, heavier shoegaze-inspired pieces, and significant vulnerable ballads about life.

In 2021, TELUS participated in the finale of the talent competition Band Battle Skråen. Since then, the band has warmed up for Danish acts like Patina, Søn, jung, and KALASET. In September 2023, the band played a sold-out release concert at the venue 1000Fryd for their debut EP, achieving great success.

The single 'Apart' was released in May 2023, played on P6 Beat, and received enthusiasm from both critics and fans (BoT, Good Because Danish). Along with the singles 'Is There Something Ironic in That?' and 'Neon Lights,' 'Apart' paved the way for the debut EP 'Love Songs for Strangers,' released in September 2023—a refined collection of songs delving into the turbulent and meaningful relationships that characterize youth in today's fleeting era.

In connection with the EP release, the band has been referred to as "candidates to bring post-punk back into A-rotation" (Bands of Tomorrow). The German media Good Because Danish drew parallels to Joy Division and the new wave genre, both lyrically and sonically, which the band has also been recognized for by HQ-music. With a soundscape that combines nostalgic references with contemporary innovation, TELUS has created a work and a sound that explores complex emotions from the uplifting moments of love and celebration to the darker aspects such as doubt, heartbreak, and mental health.
