Sofa Sessions – Local Soundtracks for Your Friday

🎶 Every Friday from 16:00–18:30 in the Café

Every Friday, we roll out the sofa in Studenterhuset’s Café and invite a local musician, artist, cultural figure or band to take over the music for 2.5 hours. They bring their own soundtracks – music that has shaped them, inspired them, or simply fills their playlists right now.

We provide the sofa, turntable, CD player and mixer – our guest provides the music and the vibe. This isn’t a concert or a dance floor – it’s a musical conversation starter in a relaxed setting, where you can sink into a soft chair and maybe discover a new favourite.

At the same time, our Friday bar offers good prices – so there's even more reason to stick around.

SCHÆFER

This Friday, Schæfer invites you into a poetic and playful universe of quirky lyrics, melancholy, and musical charm.

The duo – Anna Skov Jensen and Emil Mors Rasmussen – crafts vulnerable and witty songs that point fingers at society, and just as often, at themselves. They were recently named Songwriters of the Year 2024 in North Jutland, and GAFFA praised their dreamy indie-jazz sound with “lush trumpet solos and vocal harmonies that pull the audience into a dream world.”

Expect a Sofa Session full of heart, humor, and thought-provoking melodies.
