Sofa Sessions – Local Soundtracks for Your Friday

🎶 Every Friday from 16:00–18:30 in the Café

Every Friday, we roll out the sofa in Studenterhuset’s Café and invite a local musician, artist, cultural figure or band to take over the music for 2.5 hours. They bring their own soundtracks – music that has shaped them, inspired them, or simply fills their playlists right now.

We provide the sofa, turntable, CD player and mixer – our guest provides the music and the vibe. This isn’t a concert or a dance floor – it’s a musical conversation starter in a relaxed setting, where you can sink into a soft chair and maybe discover a new favourite.

At the same time, our Friday bar offers good prices – so there's even more reason to stick around.

HJALTE ROSS & ASTMA

Hjalte Ross & ASTMA – sharing a sofa and a soundtrack

This Friday, two distinct voices from the North Jutland music scene come together for a special Sofa Session: Hjalte Ross and Astrid Thaarup Matthesen (ASTMA).

Hjalte is known for his intimate, reflective songwriting, blending raw emotion with technical precision. Astrid, who also plays in Hjalte’s band, explores heartfelt and honest expression in her solo project ASTMA – in both Danish and English. Together, they’ll guide us through the sounds that have inspired and shaped them, both individually and in collaboration.

Expect warmth, depth, and a shared musical space where personal favorites and stories unfold.
