snuggle moves within a soundscape that feels spacious and soft as cotton – a place where a quiet, inner reckoning hides beneath dreamy layers. Guitar riffs, melodies, and lyrics gently collide, forming a distinctive, atmospheric space.

Behind the project are Andrea Thuesen and Vilhelm Strange, who met as classmates at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. They quickly discovered a musical kinship through long, improvised jam sessions – a partnership deeply rooted in both intuition and togetherness. For years, they moved through Copenhagen’s underground scene before introducing the world to snuggle in 2023.

Thuesen is already known as part of the trio Baby In Vain, who have left their mark since the 2010s with grungy, uncompromising releases, while Strange has made a name for himself as a producer for the eccentric pop group Liss. Together, they’ve created snuggle as a sanctuary – a space where offbeat arrangements meet existential unease and poetic humor.

The experimental rock trio Poptones jumps freely between prog rock, hardcore, indie and avant rock - a brutal and alluring encounter between synergy and chaos, where the band celebrates contrasts and unpredictability through aggressive outbursts, meditative periods and heavy riffs.
