One drummer and two saxophonists. That’s the recipe behind one of the wildest live acts in the Nordics.

Since their debut in 2018, Smag På Dig Selv (SPDS) have challenged and expanded genre boundaries with their uncompromising fusion of acoustic techno, raw punk energy and 90s-inspired dance music. With genre-defying intensity, four-on-the-floor beats and a clear activist edge, the trio deliver an explosive, physical and euphoric live experience that leaves audiences drenched in sweat and pure release. Their boundary-pushing energy and commanding stage presence have cemented SPDS as one of Denmark’s strongest live acts—on their way out of the underground and into the mainstream. Their ferocious live shows were recognised in November 2024 with a Danish Music Award for New Live Act of the Year.

In April 2024, the band released their debut album SPDS to critical acclaim and numerous award nominations. In 2024, SPDS played to more than 11,000 people at Roskilde Festival, followed by two sold-out shows at Store Vega and a sold-out Train in February 2025. The trio are already taking the world by storm, with a new album set for release in March 2026.
