Welcome to Sketch&Sound – a creative event where you can be inspired by live music, a life-drawing model, and an atmospheric setting while moving your pencil across the paper.

No experience required – everyone is welcome!

Whether you’re a beginner eager to try drawing for the first time, or an experienced artist seeking new impressions and challenges, this is an event where creativity and community take center stage.

The evening is divided into three sessions:

• The local band Maaneland provides the musical backdrop while the audience draws moods and movements
• A life-drawing model poses to the sound of music
• Maaneland returns to the stage while the audience has the opportunity for free drawing

Who is Maaneland?

The Aalborg-based band Maaneland works to unite the wild and the fragile in a concert experience where energetic rock and acoustic passages merge. Under the theme Cowboy På Himmelfart (Cowboy on Ascension), the audience can expect a vibrant concert where grand gestures and subtle details go hand in hand. Maaneland continues its journey through North Jutland stories in pop songs disguised as rock, where poetry, energy, and intimacy create a special atmosphere.

The bar will be open throughout the evening, and Studenterhuset will provide the perfect atmosphere for immersion, community, and artistic expression. We supply paper, pencils, and charcoal – but feel free to bring your own materials if you’d like to expand your expression even further.
