Skammens Vogn — consisting of poet-priest Nikolaj Zeuthen, healer Oliver Hoiness, and cannabis farmer Jakob Millung — celebrates the raw nerve and accessibility of rock music with their new album Spacebaby. Spacebaby marks the trio’s eighth album, and they will embark on a nationwide tour across Denmark in spring 2025.

The album title, Spacebaby, is inspired by the chorus of the single "Kim Larsen er død" and is actually a hidden Kim Larsen quote. It speaks to a traveler in outer space who moves beyond the boundaries of time, transforming back into an embryo. For the band, music is a spiritual phenomenon unbound by time and place, and the concept of the spacebaby symbolizes this: "Infant, elder, warrior – fool, sage, vagabond, showman – street sweeper, astronaut – past, present, and forever – it’s the calling and voice of music that we try to answer to the best of our ability."

Skammens Vogn is a group founded on a friendship that dates back to primary school, forming an artistic and spiritual bond that has endured for nearly twenty years. The band made a breakthrough with the album Asfalt (2013). Zeuthen has been nominated twice for the Carl Prisen and once for Steppeulven for his lyrics, while Oliver Hoiness has received a Steppeulv award as "Musician of the Year," and Jakob Millung has garnered multiple awards for his work with other bands.

Support: Oskar Krusell

As one half of the band Kogekunst, Oskar Krusell has been pushing the boundaries of pop music since 2014. In 2023, he released his self-titled debut album, OSKAR, which received critical acclaim.

Since then, he and his band have been working on a new record. These songs revolve around becoming a father and becoming depressed, revisiting childhood, attending weddings, funerals, and baby rhythm classes. They are sung in a search for acceptance, based on the idea that it’s not our feelings that make us sick, but everything we do to avoid them.

Expect heartfelt folk music, obscure rock, and poly-rhythmic chaos from one of the most exciting voices on the fringes of the Danish music scene.
