School of X releases new album Seventh Heaven and announces spring tour, taking him to seven Danish cities.

School of X, aka Rasmus Littauer, is behind internationally acclaimed album releases and has previously collaborated with artists such as Liss, Trentemøller, MØ, Deb Never, The Minds of 99, and more. In the spring of 2024, he could be seen at the by:Larm festival in Oslo, and in the fall, he played a series of major international shows as support for Trentemøller.

On November 1st, his album Seventh Heaven was released via Tambourhinoceros. With this album, School of X has distilled two years of songwriting into a carefully curated list of 10 tracks. The album and its title explore how the pursuit of absolute happiness and perfection in life is a utopia, but the hope of reaching them still remains.

On the single "I Wanna Dive in the Seven Seas," School of X merges acoustic and raw guitars with airy strings, capturing the tug-of-war feeling between the routines of adult life and a strong yearning and desire to take chances — or risks.

The Danish singer-songwriter moves within an organic, guitar-driven soundscape, sonically drawing inspiration from the American indie folk scene. The themes in Funder’s music are deeply influenced by emotional and relational unrest. With her curious and honest songwriting, she captures the intense complexity of our close relationships; she sings about the unspoken things that weigh on us and make us afraid – and about how we attach to and become dependent on each other.
