PowerSolo has earned a reputation as one of the absolute best live rock bands out there. Kim Kix and his riders never play the same set two nights in a row — no one gets bored, everyone stays on their toes, and it always ends right up near the ceiling!

PowerSolo are currently working on a follow-up to JAMBALAYA – EXTRA SPICY, released on Crunchy Frog in 2023. This is going to be truly exciting, because a surprise awaits — yes, an entirely new direction. A spooky plan has been in the making for a good twelve months or more. Nothing more will be said for now… wait and see.

PowerSolo was formed in 1996 in Aarhus by vocalist/guitarist Kim “Kix” Jeppesen. Over the band’s nearly 30-year existence, they have released 10 studio albums, a film score, and countless singles and videos.

PowerSolo is an active band that records and tours internationally, extensively across Europe and the USA, as well as South America and even Africa. They have also contributed to numerous TV and film soundtracks, including the Danish/Canadian crime drama Himmerland and the American TV series True Blood and American Horror Story. And in 2024, PowerSolo’s “Boom Babba Do Ba Dabba” became the soundtrack for Guinness Beer and the Premier League (!) BOOM!!!
