NEBULAH releases their new album The Sun on 20 March 2026 – and shortly after, you can experience them at Studenterhuset Aalborg with a live performance where music, performative technology, and the forces of nature merge into a large-scale audiovisual universe created in collaboration with the visual artist duo uberørt.
As part of the Danish Arts Foundation’s initiative Experiments with New Concert Formats 2025–2028, and in partnership with Godset in Kolding, NEBULAH x uberørt push the boundaries of what a concert can be. The project unfolds across spatial sound, installations, extended realities, and audio-reactive landscapes – and throughout spring 2026, The Sun Tour visits some of Denmark’s most forward-looking venues.
NEBULAH’s music and lyrics hold a mystical, feminine, and experimental energy, where contrasts between vulnerability, wildness, frustration, and presence take center stage. The Sun explores the relationship between humans, nature, and the forces that bind us together or pull us apart. At the front of the band is a female trio with two vocalists and guitar, while bass, guitar, and drums complete the expressive soundscape.
uberørt – the collaboration between Louise Lessél (NY) and Nina-Franziska Christiansen (Cph) – unites digital scenography, performative technology, and immersive experiences in tailored interactive works. Together with NEBULAH, they lead the audience through nature’s untamed wildness and constant transformation, before slowly moving into a world shaped by surrealism, glitches, and abstraction.
NEBULAH set the tone for this new sonic and visual universe with the single Plains of Silence released in September – inspired by the hope that nature will once again take the lead. Earlier in the year, they released Dew (feat. NATURE) on Earth Day in collaboration with Sounds Right, where the sounds of nature stepped forward as an artistic co-creator.
