Danish Rock Quartet Highway Child Reunites in 2025
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A STUDENT TO BUY A TICKET
Fourteen years after their breakup, Highway Child is reuniting to deliver high-energy concerts once again!
Formed in 2005, Highway Child made their album debut in 2008 and toured extensively across Europe, earning praise for their electrifying live performances. Their many shows took them to Roskilde Festival, Stoned From The Underground in Germany, and DunaJam in Italy. Music magazine GAFFA even hailed them as Denmark’s best heavy rock band. The prolific quartet released three albums in just four years, gaining a particularly strong following in Germany.
Following the release of their last album in 2011 and the subsequent tour, the band suddenly went their separate ways.
The Reunion
The spark for their return came from a promise made to a fan. She had been promised a special birthday concert featuring both Highway Child and Magtens Korridorer. And when you make a promise, you keep it—so both bands showed up and played at her celebration. That night, Highway Child proved they could still blow an audience away and set a stage on fire. The sheer energy of the experience reignited their passion, and the band knew it was time to play live again.
The band states:
"We are beyond excited to take the stage together again, to revisit these songs, and to share the energy and joy with our audience. After all these years, feeling that spark, that groove, and the pure love of playing is absolutely incredible."
