Nordkraft Big Band welcomes four-time Grammy-nominated saxophonist and composer Remy Le Boeuf for a concert celebrating the music that emerges when cultures, traditions, and artistic expressions meet.

The concert explores how jazz transforms and renews itself when different worlds intersect — whether through Le Boeuf’s collaborations with ensembles from New York to Taipei or through new works written especially for Nordkraft Big Band.

The program features Le Boeuf’s vibrant arrangements such as “Cemavulid” (by Taiwanese Indigenous artist Sauljaljui), the hymn-like “Arnold” (by Philip Dizack), originally premiered by the Swiss Jazz Orchestra, as well as Le Boeuf’s own orchestral jazz compositions from projects across the globe.

Together, they form a musical journey through the unexpected places where paths cross and new soundscapes emerge.
