The 20-year-old singer and songwriter from Odense, Augusta Schackinger, writes lyrics that strive for more than just depicting the ups and downs of life. For her, it's about creating images with words - images that reach across generations and tell of places and experiences that exist both in and outside the physical world. With her characteristic mix of dreamy pop and lyrical melancholy, Augusta moves in a space between the real and the symbolic.

Despite her young age, Augusta already has several years of experience with music. She debuted in 2022 with the single "Stjerneklare Nætter", which was recorded in a recording studio at her father's house, where they were responsible for the entire production together. The song was used in Jonas Risvig's youth drama series "Grænser" and today has over 1 million plays on Spotify.

Since then, Augusta has released a number of singles before she began a collaboration with Sony Music in 2024. Here last year she released the singles “Et Sted På Vesterbro” and “Febersol” and not least the regular streaming hit “Ødelagt Byen” with fellow artist Olivver – a song that cleared the Spotify chart and became the most streamed song of late summer.

Augusta is now current with the single “Anerkender Mig” – a thoughtful song that depicts an honest recognition of the vulnerability that arises when we long for recognition.

Augusta is now looking forward to a year that will offer much more new music – and not least a well-filled concert calendar, which is now being expanded considerably with 19 new dates in the fall of 2026.
