Studenterhuset x Aalborg Symphony Orchestra
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A STUDENT TO PARTICIPATE!
Note: Limited amount of seats!
It's not every day that you can experience almost 40 violins, violas, cellos and double basses playing together in the intimate setting of Studenterhuset. The result is a sound that can be powerful, raw, cinematic and surprisingly captivating.
On August 20, Studenterhuset will be filled with musicians from Aalborg Symphony Orchestra filled with energy and presence, when the entire orchestra's string group gathers for a concert that comes very close. At the forefront is the award-winning Swedish violinist, conductor and chamber musician Malin Broman. She guides us through a program full of moods and strong musical stories. Look forward to Béla Bartók's pulsating Divertimento, Grace Williams' ocean-inspired Sea Sketches and the aptly titled The Fiddlers.
Come and experience how music, community and summer atmosphere merge together. Whether you are a seasoned concertgoer, a curious student or just looking for a different evening in good company, we are here to provide an experience that shows what a symphony orchestra can sound like when it comes up close.
The concert marks the end of a workshop with the orchestra's strings and provides a rare opportunity to experience the entire group together.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
