Part Time Label Night presents three artists at Studenterhuset on April 1st!

PLEASER Pleaser is a promising new underground band from Copenhagen with roots in the city's strong scene around Ungdomshuset. Pleaser has a refreshing take on melodic punk rock - it is both emotional, catchy and intense. The band has already played a series of highly praised concerts on various venues and festivals. The group's self-recorded demo from 2021 has been received especially positively and even was on airplay on P6 Beat. Pleaser wil be releasing their debut album in 2023.

TRADER Trader is a Danish rockband localised in Aarhus that has existed since 2019. The band plays honest, straight forward and explosive indie rock where noise and dissonance manage to appear beautiful and melancholic. Trader consists of singer and guitarist Anders Ahle, bassist Joakim Johnsen and drummer Kristian Vissing, a classic rock trio setup where bands such as Dinosaur Jr. and Yo La Tengo stand as clear references. Trader has with their newest draft, “Their Best Work So Far”, made more space for uptempo beats and melodic guitar riffs. This creates a more dynamic and nuanced soundtrack, where the pop elements also are allowed, with a noisy guitar passage in combination with catchy melodies. The album was released on 14 October on Part Time Records.

SECRECY Secrecy consists of Emil Korning Zethsen and Tobias Guldborg Tarp. In the shelter of the rock band Yung, of which they are half, the two have cultivated a shared spirit for the melancholic and the wistful. Live, Secrecy materialises as a quintet. Debut album out on Part Time Records in the fall of 2023.
