With her tough upbringing and deep love for the hip-hop scene behind her, Nøx writes Danish-language rap at a highly technical and extremely refined level. Her universe is filled with powerlessness, euphoria, sex, grief, absinthe, trauma, pain, gravy, cigarettes, and twisted love that sits like smoke in thin layers of air.

The lyrics are direct and to the point. The music has a pop aesthetic, electronic beats and melodic subtleties. And it's great to dance to.

With their debut single "Nu" in 2020, Nøx came on everyone's lips. The song has both shaken off regular P3 airplay and been on the soundtrack of the DR series 'Salsa'. The rapper followed up with her debut album Walk of Shame in 2021, where she demonstrated her respected status on the Danish hip-hop scene by including features such as Klamfyr and Josie Amadonna.

2022 was the year when Nøx established herself as one of the strongest new live acts in Denmark. First she took over the summer festivals Oppenheimer and UHØRT - later she filled Pumpehuset with a self-organised show and a huge hip-hop party that featured guests such as Pede B and Tue Track. Her sublime live performance has been highlighted by Soundvenue, Undertoner and not least GAFFA, who threw roses and five stars after her concert.

With lungs like tar and eyes as red as freshly licked sweets, Nøx has just released the singles "Koldt Udenfor" and "Karma bby", which, among other things, tell of a showdown with a fucked-up music industry that you neither want to be a part of nor escape from. She's not afraid to make a name for herself and speak out - or to tear you down with her eloquent and intellectual verbiage.

Rumour has it that Nøx is hungry and has been in the studio for a long time, so be prepared for surprises and even more outstanding releases from the rapper's table...
