GET READY FOR WAY UP NORTH FESTIVAL 2023!

As tradition dictates, Way Up North 2023 will take place on November 10th and 11th, 2023, at Studenterhuset Aalborg – Gammeltorv 10, 9000 Aalborg.

Since 2004, Way Up North has been gathering the best of North Jutland's music scene on the three stages at Studenterhuset Aalborg.

Throughout the years, names such as The Blue Van, Oh No Ono, Figurines, Tone, Johny Hefty, Mnemic, Mercenary, The Courettes, Get Your Gun, De Underjordiske, Ginne Marker, Rikke Thomsen, Hjalte Ross, Kogekunst, Angående Mig, Farveblind, and many others have taken their early steps into the Danish music scene through Way Up North.

As something new, we are traveling even further "Way Up North." With performances by artists from West Sweden and South Norway, we aim to foster connections between regions and countries through the exchange of melodies and talent, encapsulating the sound of new rhythmic music from Skagerrak to delight you, the audience.
