Myrkur announces a new album and Denmark tour in 2024.

Myrkur released her new album "Spine" on October 20, 2023, and will embark on a tour of the four largest cities in Denmark in 2024.

"Spine," the title of Myrkur's newest album, carries a multitude of potent connotations: growth, strength, resilience, a core of our being, and flexibility. It's what holds a person up and allows us to rebuild. The album encompasses all of these traits - a rebirth that balances our most euphoric and darkest moments. The latest release from the album is the single "Valkyriernes Sang," which was just released.

Myrkur, born Amalie Bruun, has always charted her own path and challenged the underground's preconceived notions of heavy metal since the release of her debut album "Myrkur" EP in 2014. With her first two full-length studio albums, "M" in 2015 and "Mareridt" in 2017, she blended raw second-wave black metal with her love for Nordic folk music. This immediately put her on the map and garnered attention from listeners and the media worldwide.
