Marí shines with a voice that masterfully embraces the vulnerable and subtle aspects, while simultaneously exuding a strength and primal force that supports the deep human emotions and experiences her songs portray. Without paying too much attention to current sound trends and musical virtues, her music draws appreciative connections to artists like PJ Harvey, Tindersticks, Big Thief, and Bonnie Prince Billy.

Her debut album, "Making Peace With Uncertainty," will be released on November 3rd, establishing her as a new and remarkable artist in the Danish indie scene. The album, released via Celebration Records, was recorded at Sundlaugin Studio in Iceland — Sigur Ros' studio — and produced and mixed by Albert Finnbogason (JFDR, Soley, Joan Shelley, and more). Additionally, the album features Hjalte Ross, Kollapse, and Christian Høgh on it's versatile guest list, alongside Icelandic guest musicians and the Danish/Swedish multi-talent Gustaf Ljunggren.

Marí has announced a series of concerts in Denmark, where audiences can experience her in the company of two Icelandic musicians who also contributed to the album: multi-instrumentalist Albert Finnbogason and the explosive jazz drummer Magnús Trygvason, as well as the intuitive trumpeter Erik Lunde and film composer/violinist Maria Jagd.
