Iomfro visits Studenterhuset with her songs about the climate crisis and falling in love!

You don't need to be a student to buy a ticket.

With her songs, Iomfro offers a poetic generation's diagnosis of being seriously sensitive and taking that sensitivity seriously. About having the will to solve the climate crisis but also fearing it. About being head over heels in love but being afraid to surrender. About having the strength to have an abortion but being unsure of her own body.

Iomfro draws on hip-hop beats, campfire guitars, 80's synths, and danceable basslines. It all blends together into a present popuniverse where her distinctive voice gently moves over contemplative melodies.

Since the release of her debut EP, 'føler for meget', has Iomfro established herself as a songwriter and performer with a pop-poetic presence. Behind the clever lyrics and catchy melodies is 26-year-old Alma Kjær Agergaard. She sings about feeling too much and feeling like others say too little. Iomfro directly connects with Generation Z and articulates relatable topics, all wrapped up in a staged imperfect and deliberately random expression.

Iomfro's distinctive vocals and songwriting first saw the light of day when she released the first track from the single trilogy 'føler for meget I' in 2021 – an EP that garnered praise from outlets like Politiken, Soundvenue, GAFFA, and Heartbeats.

In the fall of 2022, she concluded her second single trilogy 'føler for meget II' with the thoughtful ballad '9 år' – a reflection on 'First World problems' and an overly happy childhood with references to Sylvia Plath's masterpiece, "The Bell Jar." In connection with this, Iomfro appeared on Kulturen on P1, visited Kunsthal Charlottenborg with a performance and talk about music videoaesthetics, and topped P3's Upcoming list.

In 2022, Iomfro also toured the country, as support for both HUGORM and PATINA. In the spring of 2023, Iomfro released the single 'Weekend,' which was praised by Politiken's music editor Simon Lund and is in regular rotation on P6 Beat. In conjunction with the release, Iomfro gave an interview on P3.
